COMMENTARY:
I’m late in getting this blog out. The county real property tax auction is still going although some properties were taken off as back taxes were paid. The last print out on the Garden Island Newspaper will be on May 17th, 2023. The auction is May 25, 2023. Please note this is not a judicial auction and will not wipe out mortgages or other liens. There is a one year right of redemption, and title insurance is usually not available until 20 years later.
