I’m not sure what this property sold for at auction, but a buyer can still bid at court confirmation. For more information contact Katherine Caswell, ESQ. katerine@kauaiestatelaw.com.

I saw the house and thought it had a lot of promise There’s a lot of square footage upstairs and downstairs. The property is located in the Wailua Rise subdivision of Wailua Homesteads.

Commentary:

I’m awaiting the closing of Halelani Village Y-205 that I bought at a Kauai foreclosure auction. It’s a one bedroom in good rentable condition. I’m buying it for $296,000 plus closing costs. It’s probably worth 350K. No one else bid at the foreclosure auction. I think this is because there was a delay between the open houses and the auction. With this crazy economy I feel like buyers are putting off any purchasing decisions. But that usually is the right time to buy.  More foreclosures will come up. It may not be the perfect property or the perfect time to purchase however it maybe the perfect deal. So get out of your comfort zone and get in the real estate market. Aloha Julie 808 652-6174
