Kauai REO, Kauai Foreclosures commentary:

Since there aren’t many active Kauai REO or foreclosure listings for sale I have posted a few photos of upcoming listed REO properties. I do not have any idea of prices yet but you can email me if you want to be notified when they come up for sale. One of my last Kauai REO properties I got assigned to me was at 3411 Kalua Moa in Lawai. Fortunately I called the foreclosure commissioner first as this property was bought by an individual at foreclosure and not owned by the bank. It’s really irritating to be doing a lot of running around and reports for the banks when they don’t  even own the property. I had 1 recent assignment where the foreclosure commissioner (fc) hadn’t even held the foreclosure sale yet and I had already changed the locks. Yikes. Fortunately that fc is really nice and understanding. Since I hadn’t seen any foreclosure notices posted and the house was neat and vacant I thought the property was a deed-in-lieu.
