Editorial:
There are only a few foreclosures coming up on the courthouse steps. All are from pre-Covid times. people are asking/telling me about expected foreclosures due to Covid. I disagree. There will not be immediate foreclosures after Covid. There will probably be some legislation to help home owners who are in arrears. Even if there isn’t Hawaii in general is usually the last state on the mainland banks radar. That’s why we have a few foreclosures 10 years later after default. We will probably still have a few foreclosures due death and reverse mortgages and other non Covid related items. I have 6 non listed bank owned properties in my queue. Two are in lawsuits 2 are in eviction and the 2 mentioned above will be listed soon.
