Open houses are December 9th from 10:00am to noon and December 16th from 1:00pm until 3:00pm. At the open house you can ask the FC commissioner, Frank Rothschild, all your questions. UPDATE: This is the hard money private lender Kauai foreclosure I mentioned below in the comments. The property is a vacant lot in Wailua Houselots on Haleilio Road. TMK 4-4-1-6-53. I believe it’s zoned Neighborhood Commercial and in the flood zone. The foreclosure sale did go forth with the lenders minimum bid of $350,000. The bid can be reopened up at 5% more or $367,500 at court confirmation. I don’t have the confirmation date yet but will update the blog when I do. This lot has potential. Click here for the County Zoning Ordinances that tell you what you can build and the requirements for Neighborhood Commercial. The Kauai county assessment on this lot is $514,600.

  2. 4841 Lani Road; Kapaa.  8,138 sqft. of vacant land.  Price Reduced $315,000. Owned by DEUTSCHE BANK NATIONAL TRUST CO.  MLS#704918.


  1. 4670 Opukea Street, Lihue. A 5 bedroom, 2 bath home on 6,700 sqft. Price Reduced $649,900.  Owned by  THE BANK OF NEW YORK MELLON. MLS#670418.


  1. 5691 Hauaala Road, Kapaa.  A 4 bedroom, 2 bath home on 24,350 sqft. $845,000. Being sold by the United States of America. MLS#658845. Sold 11/22/23 for $865,000 (Conventional Loan).


There have been pretty much no bank foreclosures coming up that I am aware of. I did see a private money hard lender foreclosure notice. I missed putting it in my blog. We will be having another new Kauai bank REO coming up at 3201 Palai St in Lihue. Originally the bank told me they wanted to repair the house before they sold it. But now we are thinking they are changing their minds.
