Another agent asked me recently, if there will be an increase of REOs due to Covid lost income. We probably won’t see that anytime soon if at all. What we will see are new foreclosures for all the usual reasons. People who just can’t manage their monies, reversed mortgage’s where the owner has past away, and those delayed by Covid.
Buying a foreclosure can be more difficult and risky. There are no contingencies. Be sure you have inspected the home and possible legal advise before you jump right in. I often see people coming to foreclosure sales just to view the process. I think tis is a smart move. The sales are held outside on the courthouse steps.
